Robyn LeRoy-Evans (b. 1987) is a visual artist working in photography, installation, and performance. By turning the camera on herself, and through the use of carefully considered materials, LeRoy-Evans creates imagery and installations that draw inspiration from history, mythology, and her own personal experiences. She graduated from Sheffield Hallam University, UK, in 2012 with a First Class Honours Degree in Fine Art.
That Which We Can Never Know, 2019-20
Since 2014 she has called New Orleans home, exhibiting nationally and internationally, and making work with her collaborative quartet, The Crystal Efemmes. She celebrated her first solo show, A Growing Dance, in 2017, which explored her most challenging and rewarding venture yet: motherhood.
Emily Speed is an artist based in the North West, working in sculpture, performance and film. She has been commissioned to make performances for Yorkshire Sculpture Park, Laumeier Sculpture Park (St Louis) and Edinburgh Art Festival among others.

Recent exhibitions include: A Woman’s Place at Knole House; Body Builders at Fort Worth Contemporary Arts, Texas; and Happenstance, Scotland + Venice at the Architecture Biennale in 2018. ‘Rooms Designed for a Woman’ was recently on display at Tate St Ives until its closure, and she is currently working on a solo presentation for Tate Liverpool in 2021.
Lauren McLaughlin (b1984) is a multidisciplinary artist, curator and educator based in Edinburgh. Her practice is concerned with representing the undervalued and invisible labour carried out by women and mothers, and drawing attention to societal inequalities from a Feminist perspective.

Lauren is also the founder of Spilt Milk; a social enterprise based in Scotland whose mission is to promote the work of artists who are mothers, and to empower mothers in her community through socially engaged creative activity.
